How to plan a civil wedding in Ireland

So you want to plan a civil wedding or as I call it a celebrant led wedding in Ireland. whether you are in Ireland or are planning your wedding from outside Ireland there are a few steps.

Find a venue that you like, Choose a celebrant that you like and feel comfortable to work with. a good celebrant will be in a position to suggest suppliers , alternative venues. etc.

As a celebrant in Ireland I have a vast knowledge of wedding suppliers and venue , be it Irish Castles , 4/5 star hotels, small intimate venues, or unique bespoke venues that you can book completely for yourself and your party.

Where I live there is a small intimate castle that I just adore , its called Fanningstown Castle. This venue is just so quaint and amazing in wedding pics. perfect for Celebrant led weddings.

Want something bigger ? how about a Barn wedding. Galtee Escape is an amazing new venue which combines accomodation with a unique function venue. set in the countryside , it is absolutely perfect for Civil weddings . There are so many weddings on Lough Derg , Like Ashley Park Manor House, Coolbawn Quay on the marina. all these provide great accomodation for you and your guests. These venues book up quickly for Celebrant Led Weddings.

For these and and other venues I can help and advise on suppliers like, Hair and Make Up, Photographers, Videographers, Caterers, Bespoke Cake suppliers. Florists , Bands, Magicians etc. etc etc. your venue will also be able to advise .

If you are looking for an Outdoor Civil Wedding then make sure you check out the garden area in your chosen venue. I advise all my couples to choose your supplier first including Celebrant. Once you have gotten all the people you want booked , you can then decide on what you want from them.

Remember it is your day and it is very important that those you choose are there to provide you with the best service .

That way you will have the perfect Civil Wedding in Ireland.
